Ownership of Third-Party Content

The inclusion of third-party content on Dancehallarena does not transfer ownership to Dancehallarena.

Counter-Notification

Dancehallarena accepts music and entertainment submissions from artists, producers, managers, labels, distributors, publicists, and other authorized representatives.

Submissions should be relevant to Dancehall, Reggae, Caribbean music, or closely related culture and entertainment.

Every music submission should include:

  • Featured artist names
  • Producer name
  • Record label
  • Distributor, where applicable
  • Official release date
  • Genre
  • Riddim name, where applicable
  • Clean or explicit designation
  • A short description or press release
  • Official cover artwork
  • Streaming links

  • Contact information for an authorized representative

Incomplete submissions may not be reviewed.

Artwork Requirements

Artwork should:

  • Be clear and professionally presented
  • Accurately identify the artist and project
  • Be provided in JPG, PNG, or WebP format
  • Be large enough for publication
  • Be free of unauthorized copyrighted material
  • Avoid misleading claims or unrelated branding

Recommended minimum size:

1200 × 1200 pixels

Do not send low-resolution screenshots when original artwork is available.

Audio and Streaming Links

Preferred links include:

  • SoundCloud
  • Official distributor smart links

Do not send suspicious download links, password-protected files, or links that require unauthorized software.

Private review links may be accepted when access instructions are clearly provided.

Press Release Requirements

Press releases should be factual, clear, and written in complete sentences.

A useful press release normally includes:

  • What is being released or announced
  • The release date

Paying for promotion does not guarantee an editorial review or favorable opinion.

Previously Released Content

Previously released music may be considered when:

  • It is connected to a new music video
  • It is part of an album or EP campaign
  • It has recently gained significant attention
  • It is associated with a new event, remix, chart achievement, or announcement
  • There is another timely editorial reason for coverage

Clearly explain why an older release is currently relevant.

Prohibited Submissions

Do not submit material that:

Corrections and Updates

Correction requests are reviewed but are not automatically accepted.

Removal Requests

Publication is generally intended to remain part of the Dancehallarena archive.
