Just in time for summer comes a globe-trotting Dancehall riddim project of epic proportions. This one’s guaranteed to have asses shaking at every beach, pool, and club dance from Kingston to Accra to New York and everywhere in between. Produced by the American / Trinidadian duo Jonny Blaze and Stadic
(the producers behind Mr. Killa’s Soca Monarch-winning, viral smash-hit “Run Wid It”), alongside up-and-coming Belizean producer DJ Perf, the SEXTING RIDDIM delivers a truly all-star cast of international Dancehall music giants, as well as a return to the Dancehall for American multi-platinum, Grammy-winning singer Mýa (of Lady Marmalade and Girls Dem Suga fame).
The 9 track, genre-bending project intertwines a sexy and provocative mix of Dancehall, Soca, and R&B/Pop and kicks off with Jamaica as Dancehall star power is well represented with the likes of Konshens, Beenie Man, Christopher Martin, and the dancing king, Ding Dong. Next up is Trinidad, which offers arguably the hottest Soca artistes in the game – Kes and Patrice Roberts, who are joined by the up-and-coming talent Hey Choppi. Rounding out the vast international cast is the multifaceted and award winning Stonebwoy from Ghana, West Africa and the rising star Stig Da Artist from Belize.
Of the project, the pop soulstress Mýa exclaims “I’m excited about heating up the summer with Ding Dong on the fire track “Handsfree”… We’re bringing something sexy for the ladies that the DJs & clubs can rock with and everyone can dance to.
