VYBZ KARTEL HOSPITALIZED

Incarcerated dancehall artiste Adidja Azim Palmer otherwise called Vybz kartel has been admitted to University Hospital of the West Indies with a possible kidney infection.

Mr. Palmer reportedly fell ill yesterday around noon and had pain in his back. He was treated by medical staff at the general penitentiary. Vybz Kartel again complained of pain about 6 o’clock in the evening, he was transported to the hospital this morning as there was no improvement in his conditions.

Hospital sources say that his condition is stable and at this time authorities will only allow immediate family visits. There is no word yet on when he will be discharged from the hospital.

Vybz Kartel is was sentence to life in prison for a 2014 murder conviction. He is currently awaiting his appeal trial which is set for February of next year.
