Canadian Hip-hop Artist, UZMAN Collaborates With Jamaica’s Dancehall Trio, Nuh Limit Family
Nuh Limit Family – the group many are comparing to international stars, Ward 21 – recently connected with Canadian hip-hop artist, UZMAN, on the single “Rolling High.” As the legalization and open use of marijuana is now an ongoing topic in Jamaica and North America, both camps decided to do a track centered around the subject of getting high but addressing it from their perspective. The song was produced, mixed and mastered by popular producer, Lamar ‘Cell’ Thompson, of Audio Traxx Studio, (located in Old Harbor, Jamaica, which is where the Nuh Limit Family is from). Based on the buzz it is currently getting in the streets, “Rolling High” has already been added to rotation on credible Jamaican radio stations like Irie FM, Suncity and Reggae Radio JA. It can be streamed via the following link and DJs can send an email to (MJE) [email protected] for a promo copy: http://soundcloud.com/uzman/nuh-limit-family-ft-uzman-rolling-high-main This is the 2nd collaboration by the Nuh Limit Family and UZMAN. They also did a well-received remix of Nuh Limit Family’s “shots in ma cup” in 2015. That record became somewhat of an anthem in both Old Harbor as well as parts of Toronto, where UZMAN is based. Additionally, as Nuh Limit Family has performed on Sting and other well established stage shows across the island, they invited UZMAN to perform with them at the Jamaica Jamboree in Tovoli Gardens in 2015. They received a positive response from the crowd so much so that it prompted the men to continue to work together
